RMR 101.9 (Radio Margaret River) is a not-for-profit community radio station. It’s the first of its kind in Margaret River and has been created by a group of talented, skilled volunteers, passionate about music and community connections. Our objective is to provide quality programming that is entertaining, informative and uplifting.

Providing free training in all aspects of radio, including writing, recording, editing, presenting, and giving volunteers access to use new, state-of-the-art equipment, RMR 101.9 provides local individuals, organisations and businesses a “voice”. Our aim is to support local music, arts, community groups, tourism and businesses in the region.
Get involved
To achieve these goals we need the support of the community. From volunteers hosting radio programs to businesses sponsoring the station, there are numerous ways to support us. We rely on the generosity and commitment of the community we serve.
We welcome new volunteers and provide top class training from accredited trainers. A number of roles exist to suit all types of people and interests.
